One case of Covid-19 has been recorded in the Highlands area in the past 24 hours.
The latest figures from the Scottish Government show there have been 18,340 positive cases across the country since the pandemic began – an increase of seven since yesterday.
A total of 297,302 people in Scotland have been tested through NHS Scotland labs and UK Government Labs to date. Of these, 278,962 were confirmed negative.
Of the people who have tested positive, 323 were in hospital last night. There are six people in intensive care with suspected or confirmed Covid-19.
Since March 5, 4,121 inpatients have been discharged from hospital.
Scotland’s death toll sits at 2,490.
A regional breakdown of the figures shows there has been no new cases recorded in the Grampian area in the past 24 hours. The region’s total number of positive cases remains at 1,429 and 30 people with coronavirus are in hospital which is down by one from yesterday’s figure.
There have been one new cases in the Highlands and no new cases on the islands.
The Highlands’ total now sits at at 377, 54 for Shetland, nine on Orkney and seven in the Western Isles.
