No new cases of Covid-19 have been recorded in the north and north-east in the past 24 hours.
The latest figures from the Scottish Government show there have been four new confirmed positive cases across the country and there have been no registered deaths in the last 24 hours.
A regional breakdown of the figures shows there has been no new cases recorded in the Grampian area and the Highlands in the past 24 hours. The region’s total number of positive cases sits at 1,445 and 381 people respectively.
There are 26 people with coronavirus are in hospital in Grampian since midnight. And there are less than five in the Highlands.
There have been no new cases in the islands.
The islands’ total positive cases since the pandemic began remains at 54 for Shetland, nine on Orkney and seven in the Western Isles.
A total of 349,223 people in Scotland have been tested through NHS Scotland labs and UK Government Labs to date with results showing 330,665 being confirmed negative while 18,558 were positive.
As of midnight a total of 264 were being treated in hospital, with two in intensive care with confirmed Covid-19.
Since March 5, 4,152 patients have been discharged from hospital.
Scotland’s death toll remains at 2,491.
