Six new cases of Covid-19 have been recorded in the north-east and one in the north in the past 24 hours.
The latest figures from the Scottish Government show there have been 18 new confirmed positive cases across the country and there have been no registered deaths in the last 24 hours.
A regional breakdown of the figures shows there have been six new cases recorded in the Grampian area and one in the Highlands in the past 24 hours. The region’s total number of positive cases now sits at 1,457 and 383 people respectively.
There have been no new cases in the islands.
The islands’ total positive cases since the pandemic began remains at 54 for Shetland, nine on Orkney and seven in the Western Isles.
A total of 363,239 people in Scotland have been tested through NHS Scotland labs and UK Government Labs to date with results showing 344,594 being confirmed negative while 18,645 were positive.
As of midnight a total of 260 were being treated in hospital, with three in intensive care with confirmed Covid-19.
Since March 5, 4,162 patients have been discharged from hospital.
Scotland’s death toll remains at 2,491.
