The north-east has recorded 18 new cases of Covid-19 in the past 24 hours.
The latest figures from the Scottish Government show there have been 29 new confirmed positive cases across the country and there have been no registered deaths in the last 24 hours.
A regional breakdown of the figures shows there have been 18 new cases recorded in the Grampian area and none in the Highlands in the past 24 hours. The region’s total number of positive cases now sits at 1,682 and 386 people respectively.
There have been no new cases in the islands.
The islands’ total positive cases since the pandemic began remains at 55 for Shetland, nine on Orkney and seven in the Western Isles.
A total of 398,160 people in Scotland have been tested through NHS Scotland labs and UK Government Labs to date with results showing 379,133 being confirmed negative while 19,027 were positive.
As of midnight a total of 267 were being treated in hospital, with three in intensive care with confirmed Covid-19.
Since March 5, 4,178 patients have been discharged from hospital.
Scotland’s death toll remains at 2,491.
