A further 66 new confirmed coronvirus cases have been recorded in Scotland in the past 24 hours.
The latest update from the Scottish Government shows the country’s total number of positive cases since the pandemic began is now 19,877.
A total of 476,794 people in Scotland have been tested since March and of these, 456,917 were confirmed negative.
The new figures show 248 people were in hospital with confirmed Covid-19 and one person is being treated in intensive care.
There have been no deaths related to the virus recorded in the past 24 hours.
A regional breakdown of the figures shows there have been five new cases recorded in the Grampian area, taking the total to 1,899.
There are currently 21 people in hospital after testing positive in the north-east.
Lockdown restrictions were eased in Aberdeen today, with the five mile travel limit removed and people allowed to meet others from different households indoors.
There have been no new cases recorded in the Highlands and islands since Saturday.
The totals remain for Highlands, Orkney, Shetland and Western Isles at 399, 16, 56 and seven respectively.
In Tayside, there have been 14 new cases confirmed in the past 24 hours. The Scottish Government is currently dealing with an cluster in the area.Â
