The Tories have tweeted that there was “total chaos” from Ed Miliband and “strong leadership” from the David Cameron. Meanwhile Labour called the Prime Minister “the invisible man” with “no vision for the future”. The Liberal Democrats know they won’t win the election and therefore ask voters “who they want to sit around the cabinet table”. UKIP say only they can “shake up Westminster”. The SNP praised its leader for an “excellent performance” adding the party had gained 1,200 during the course of the debate. The Green Party were unusual in not directly praising their leader’s performance online, preferring to use videos of the debate itself. Welsh nationalists Plaid Cymru repeated their soundbite that “austerity isn’t inevitable” and told people how to join the party.
