Scottish Labour leader Kezia Dugdale is set to insist she can make the party “fit for the future” and one that voters can “put their trust in once again”.
Labour members are gathering in Perth for their first conference since the party suffered a devastating defeat in the general election.
However proceedings took a silly turn early on as a video played to conference contained a whopping typo.
What should have read ‘For the next Generation’ read ‘For The Next Genertaion’.
A twitter hash-tag later and a bandwagon of Scottish Labour bashing and pedantry has begun.
Scottish Labour removed the video from their official YouTube account but YouTube user Moray Macdonald quickly pinched it and uploaded it: “for future case study use.”
"Take a fresh look at the English luggage" #genertaion

Normally I would have some sympathy over a typo but after all the smugness from Labour over an apostrophe I'm afraid I have none #genertaion

In Scotland following the General Election, Labour lost all but one of the 41 seats they had held previously to the SNP, with sole surviving Scottish MP Ian Murray due to address the conference today (Friday October 30).
Ms Dugdale, will also use the conference to announce new plans to help more youngsters leaving care to go on to university, will say that Labour as a party is “well aware of the challenges we face” after receiving a “resounding message from the voters in May”.
