Hundreds of ballot boxes have arrived at Elgin’s Town Hall in Moray for 2016’s Scottish Election.
But, unfortunately for Moray’s sleepier residents, the winners and losers in the region are not expected to be announced until 6am.
Scottish Labour’s Sean Morton, the Lib Dem’s Jamie Paterson and the Scottish Tories’ Douglas Ross are all seeking to unseat the SNP’s cabinet secretary for rural affairs, food and the environment Richard Lochhead, who has held the seat since 2006.
Our reporter caught up with Mr Lochhead, who is confident of a “good night for the SNP in Moray again.”
