Today was the biggest day of the political calendar as George Osborne announced his 2015 budget, however the chancellor has been overshadowed by a colleague on his big day.
The Chancellor spoke for over an hour but a five second cameo appearance from Secretary of State for Work and Pensions Iain Duncan Smith has dominated social media.
Upon Osborne’s announcement that the government would be introducing a National Living Wage, Mr Duncan Smith got rather carried away.

The Secretary of State for Work and Pensions’ jubilant cheering was described as ‘worth sitting through the whole budget for’ by one user on Twitter.
While others described him as everything from ‘fantastic’ to ‘terrifying’.
