Speaker of the House of Commons John Bercow has dominated social media reaction to the Autumn Statement after telling a heckling MP to “get a grip” and “take up yoga”.
The speaker advised Labour MP Clive Lewis to “get a grip of yourself man” and to “take up yoga” after the MP heckled Chancellor George Osborne.
Mr Osborne has announced he is to scrap planned cuts to tax credits for millions of low paid workers, however, it is Mr Bercow’s words which appear to have attracted the biggest social media reaction.

One of the first people to react to Bercow was Mr Lewis, the offending MP, himself.
Mr Lewis asked his 10,700 followers for some yoga tips.
Anyone know a good yoga course? #AutumnStatement
