Caley Thistle manager Richie Foran insists he will not change his approach for the visit of Premiership leaders Celtic on Sunday.
Inverness have recovered from a poor start to the season to take four points from their last possible six in games against St Johnstone and Aberdeen but this weekend come up against a Hoops side boasting a 100% league record so far this term.
Foran has faith in his side and has called on his players to approach the game with the belief they can cause an upset against Brendan Rodgers’ side.
Foran said: “They are an excellent team, they have an excellent squad and they are flying high but we are at home and I am not settling up for a 0-0 draw.
“I have always said that I believe in the quality that we have here. Iain Vigurs showed that with his goal against Aberdeen, for example. We certainly have the quality that can cause Celtic problems.
“It’s exciting, it’s a wonderful game to embrace. I will be asking my players to show the crowd and everyone watching what we are about. I want them to play their own game and express themselves, not worry about Celtic. I will ask them not to hide.
“We work hard on the training ground and they show their qualities. I want them to go out and turn on the style against Celtic. We are going to have a go. We are the home team and we will go all out to attack them. That’s the way we will play because of the belief I have in my squad.
Despite the Parkhead club’s impressive start under new manager Rodgers, Celtic go into this weekend’s game on the back of a 7-0 hammering by Barcelona in their opening Champions League group stage match at the Nou Camp on Tuesday.
Foran says Caley Jags must guard against a Hoops backlash.
He added: “It was clearly not the result Celtic wanted but not the result I wanted, either. They will be coming here determined to prove a point and not lose two on the bounce.
“I have been on the end of heavy results and I’ve just wanted to go out there and put it behind me. Celtic will be like wounded animals and we are going to be in for a very tough day but we will prepare and be ready.”
