Ross County defender Erik Cikos has left the club after the Staggies agreed to terminate his contract.
Slovakian right back Cikos rejoined County for a second spell in the summer, having previously spent six months on loan with the Dingwall men from Slovan Bratislava in 2014.
The 28-year-old found opportunities limited however, making just seven appearances, the last of which came in November.
With Staggies manager Jim McIntyre having already secured St Mirren right back Jason Naismith on a pre-contract for next season, Cikos has been allowed to find a new club.
McIntyre said: “We’d like to wish Erik well with the next stage of his career. He enjoyed two spells at the club and we couldn’t have asked more from him.
“An exciting opportunity came up for Erik that allows him to pursue more first team football and we didn’t want to stand in his way. I speak on behalf of all the coaching and playing staff when I say he leaves with all our best wishes for the future.”
