Hamilton Accies defender Ioannis Skondras has been hit with a five-match ban for excessive misconduct for his part in a brawl against Ross County.
The 27-year-old Greek was involved in a scuffle with County full-back Kenny van der Weg and also clashed with Chris Routis and Davis Keillor-Dunn before man-handling the referee Gavin Duncan, who was making his Premiership debut.
The match, at Hamilton on December 16, ended in a 3-2 victory for the Accies.
Skondras has already served two games of the ban after being sent off and will now miss a further two matches. A fifth will come into play if he receives another red card.
Hamilton, who were charged along with Ross County for failing to control their players, have not yet commented on the ruling but Skondras said outside Hampden today it was a fair judgment.
Both clubs face fines of up to £10,000, after players engaged in the mass tussle.
After the match, County boss Owen Coyle claimed Skondras threw a punch, while Accies manager Martin Cannings dismissed the ugly scenes as “just handbags”.
