Ross County forward Thomas Mikkelsen has returned to Championship side Dundee United on loan until the end of the season.
Danish attacker Mikkelsen was signed from OB by previous Staggies manager Jim McIntyre, after impressing during a loan spell with the Tangerines last season.
The 28-year-old has found opportunities limited at Dingwall however, making just three starts, with his only two goals coming from the bench.
Mikkelsen, who netted the winner in United’s IRN-BRU Cup final victory over St Mirren last season, could feature in Saturday’s Scottish Cup fourth round tie away to Alloa Athletic.
County manager Owen Coyle said: “With limited game time in Dingwall, it’s a great opportunity for Thomas to get games and we wish him all the best.”
