Ross County have completed deals to sign Hibernian defender Liam Fontaine and Max Melbourne on loan from West Bromwich Albion.
Central defender Fontaine joins County on a permanent deal after the 32-year-old secured his release from Hibs, having made just two Betfred Cup appearances for Neil Lennon’s side this season.
Left back Melbourne, 19, joins on loan from English Premier League side West Brom until the end of the season, with three appearances for the Baggies’ under-23 side in the EFL Trophy earlier in the campaign.
Bottom-of-the-table County take on Aberdeen in the Premiership at Dingwall tonight, with manager Owen Coyle hopeful of both being available for the squad to face the Dons if their registration is completed in time.
