Caley Thistle manager John Robertson has hinted he is still looking to add to his squad following the closure of the transfer window last night.
Robertson’s only January addition was former Falkirk striker Nathan Austin, however the Inverness boss has created space in his squad with goalkeeper Owain Fon Williams joining American side Indy Eleven on loan for nine months, while attacker Felitciano Zschusschen has agreed to terminate his contract.
Robertson says he will be looking at free agents and loan players with a view to strengthening his pool.
He said: “It will free up a bit of money. Everybody panics that you’ve maybe not signed anybody after the transfer window closes.
“There have been guys we were interested in, whose agents have priced them out, but what you’ll find is if they’re out of contract as we know some of them will be they will be a lot easier to deal with as they will not have a club.
“Just because there’s nobody being signed ahead of it does not mean to say we will not bring any bodies in during the next week or so.
“We also have until the first week in March to bring in loan players.”
