James Dabill remains in control of the Scottish Six Days Trial lead as the competition reached the half-way stage.
Dabill dropped his first mark of the week on Wednesday but remains three clear of reigning champion Dougie Lampkin in second.
A win for Dabill would complete a hat-trick of SSDT triumphs, with his last coming back in 2011.
Gary Macdonald, who rides for Scorpa and Fort William’s Nevis Cycles, is the highest-ranking Scot in third, three marks back from Lampkin. Sam Connor, the 2005 winner, is a point behind him.
On a rain-soaked day in Lochaber, only one rider, Iwan Roberts, came through the round with an unblemished card to creep into the top 10.
Emma Bristow is the leading female rider in 29th, with 39 marks to her name, and the newcomer category is headed by the Czech Republic’s Jiri Svoboda.
Today’s route is the second longest of the week at 91 miles, taking riders through the Pap of Glencoe, through the Chairlift and Gorton, finishing at Fersit.
