Caley Thistle manager John Robertson is prepared to show patience in midfielder Angus Beith’s recovery from a hip injury.
Beith joined Inverness on a three-year deal this summer after leaving Hearts, where he was unable to make the breakthrough with just three appearances for the Tynecastle club.
The 22-year-old has yet to feature for Caley Jags having suffered a setback in his comeback bid, however Robertson is taking a long-term view.
Robertson said: “He is still recuperating. He has been away to see a specialist again because the scar tissue has been rubbing on one of the capsules on his hip. That’s been causing a wee bit of pain when he kicks the ball.
“But while we hoped Angus would be ready by now, he is a couple of weeks behind after a wee bit of a setback.
“We will get him eventually. There is no point rushing him back now when we have him for the next couple of years.”
