County at home to Raith Rovers in IRN-BRU Cup second round

Ross County have been drawn at home to League 1 side Raith Rovers in the second round of the IRN-BRU Cup.

The Staggies overcame Hearts colts 2-1 in Tuesday’s first round tie at Tynecastle, and will now welcome Barry Smith’s side to Dingwall following their 3-1 triumph over Aberdeen colts.

Highland League side Formartine United face a trip to Northern Ireland after being drawn away to Coleraine, while Peterhead will also face cross-border opposition after being drawn at home to Irish outfit Bohemians.

Ties will be played on the weekend of September 8 or 9.
