Caley Thistle midfielder Angus Beith has been earmarked to make a long-awaited return to action in next Tuesday’s North of Scotland Cup semi final tie against Forres Mechanics.
Beith signed a three-year deal from Hearts in the summer, with winger Jake Mulraney going in the opposite direction, however he has yet to feature due to a hip injury.
The 22-year-old returned to full training on Monday however, and provided he has no further setback he is scheduled to be part of Barry Wilson’s side to face the Can-Cans at Caledonian Stadium, where Inverness will aim to set up a final against either Ross County or Brora Rangers.
Caley Jags boss John Robertson said: “We have Angus back training full-time and he’ll play in the North of Scotland Cup semi-final next week here against Forres.
“We are looking forward to getting him into the squad once he has a few games.”
