Ross County will face Motherwell colts away in the quarter-finals of the IRN-BRU Cup next month.
County progressed to the last eight courtesy of Saturday’s 3-1 win against Montrose at Victoria Park, which followed victories against Hearts colts and Raith Rovers.
County’s reward an away trip to face Stephen Craigan’s Motherwell youngsters, who became the first colts team to reach this stage of the competition thanks to a 2-0 victory over Irish side Sligo Rovers at the weekend.
Elsewhere in the quarter-finals, Bohemians will host East Fife, Edinburgh City take on Alloa Athletic and Queen’s Park are at home to Connah’s Quay Nomads.
The ties will be played on the weekend of November 17/18, meaning the Staggies’ home Championship fixture against Dunfermline Athletic will be rearranged for an alternative date.
