Striker Russell McLean departed Peterhead last night to join Montrose on a short-term contract.
The 20-year-old, who had scored six goals in 29 appearances for the Blue Toon this season but had fallen down the pecking order at Balmoor following the arrival of Shane Sutherland from Elgin City.
McLean, a product of the Hearts youth system, had joined Peterhead from Lowland League side East Kilbride in July 2017.
There was a new arrival at Balmoor with midfielder Paul Willis joining Jim McInally’s side after being released by Berwick Rangers.
Willis is the second signing of the January transfer window for the Blue Toon after Shane Sutherland’s move from Elgin.
