Ross County’s IRN-BRU Cup final against Welsh club Connah’s Quay Nomads next month will be held at Caledonian Stadium.
The match will take place on Saturday, March 23 with a 4.30pm kick-off. The match will be shown live on BT Sport, BBC ALBA and Welsh channel S4C.
County reached the final for the fifth time in their history last Friday courtesy of their 2-1 victory over League 1 club East Fife in the last four of the tournament.
The SPFL have announced the final will be held at the home of County’s rivals, Inverness, for the first time in the competition’s history, meaning Staggies co-managers Stuart Kettlewell and Steven Ferguson will be aiming to lift their first silverware just 14 miles away from Victoria Park.
The Staggies previously won the competition in 2006 and 2011, with the Welsh Premier League leaders, who became the first non Scottish club to reach the final since the competition was revamped in 2016, standing in their way of a third triumph.
