Ross County will hold a family fun day at Victoria Park on Saturday to celebrate their successful campaign as the Staggies near a league and cup double.
County play their final home game of the season against Queen of the South on Friday night, with the Dingwall men needing just a point to mathematically secure the Championship title and promotion to the top-flight at the first attempt following their relegation last term.
The Staggies also won the IRN-BRU Cup in March thanks to a 3-1 victory over Connah’s Quay Nomads at Caledonian Stadium.
Supporters have been invited to the stadium at 3pm, for the opportunity to meet players and coaching staff, enjoy live music and refreshments from the Staggies Bar and Hamilton Lounge, while the player of the year award will also be presented.
County chairman Roy MacGregor said: “Because our last home game of the season is a Friday evening this year we really wanted to make sure we held an event where supporters of all ages can come and meet the the players and show their appreciation for what has been a fantastic season.
“We didn’t want our supporters or the players and their families for that matter to miss out on this end of season tradition, particularly in a season where we’ve lifted the IRN BRU Cup and enjoyed such a brilliant Championship campaign.
“We hope as many supporters as possible can make it along on the day to mingle with the players, take photos and get autographs and see the winner of the Player of the Year award announced too.”
