Caley Thistle have confirmed that manager John Robertson has accepted a one-match ban after being sent to the stand in his side’s Scottish Premiership play-off defeat by Dundee United.
Robertson was charged with breaching disciplinary rule 203, which states that “no member of team staff shall commit a misconduct at a match.”
The 54-year-old was sent to the stand after allegedly kicking a bottle of water at Lowe during his side’s 3-0 defeat at Tannadice on May 17.
In his post-match press conference, Robertson described fourth official David Lowe as “a liar” and “arrogant and obnoxious”.
A principal hearing was pencilled in for June 6 but Robertson has accepted the one-match ban.
