Richard Foster has returned to Ross County on a deal until the end of the season.
The 34-year-old was allowed to leave St Johnstone following a disagreement with Saints manager Tommy Wright and the McDiarmid Park club confirmed his contract had been terminated this morning before County announced Foster’s return.
Foster spent a successful 12-month stint with the Staggies during the 2015-16 campaign when he was part of County’s League Cup winning side before leaving to join Saints.
The defender will go straight into the County squad for this weekend’s match against his former side Aberdeen at Pittodrie on Saturday.
