In just a couple of hours, Katarina Johnson-Thompson will find out if she will be named the BBC Sports Personality of the year.
Alongside fellow track and field star Dina Asher-Smith, Johnson-Thompson is one of two women on the six-strong shortlist.
She said previously she had been watching the show for “as long as I can remember and I’m humbled to be up for it alongside some incredible sportsmen and sportswomen. What a way to end the year!”
The world champion athlete paid a visit to some of the patients at the Royal Aberdeen Children’s Hospital during her visit to the Granite City.
We caught up with her on the red carpet at P&J Live ahead of the ceremony.
