Caley Thistle have signed Rangers winger Kai Kennedy on loan.
The 18-year-old has joined John Robertson’s side until January.
Caley Jags start their 2020-21 campaign with a Betfred Cup game against Hearts on Tuesday night but Kennedy won’t feature as he is representing Scotland under-19.
Caley Thistle confirmed the signing in a statement tonight, which read: “The club is delighted to announce the loan signing of Kai Kennedy from Rangers.
“The talented winger made his first team debut for Rangers in January and he gave an impressive performance for them on his last visit to Inverness when he starred for their colts team in the Tunnock’s Challenge Cup semi-final.
“Kai is joining the Scotland under-19 squad tonight as they travel to England for a double-header against them this week and we all wish him the very best of luck in both games and we are looking forward to welcoming him to the Highlands on his return and he will go straight into the first team squad.”
Inverness have also been linked with a move for right-back Wallace Duffy who was released by St Johnstone today.
