Ross County manager Jim McIntyre has started the process of freeing up space in his squad to make way for new additions, with Italian midfielder Rafa De Vita leaving the Dingwall club.
De Vita has struggled to hold down a regular place in the Staggies side this season having started just 12 times, with Sunday’s emphatic 4-0 win against Aberdeen at Pittodrie his final game for the club.
The 28-year-old made a strong impression after joining County on a free transfer in January 2015 following his departure from Cheltenham Town, playing an important role in the Highlanders’ excellent run of 10 wins from 14 games that secured their Premiership survival last season.
The former Bradford City, Swindon Town and Livingston player was an unused substitute for County’s 2-1 League Cup final victory against Hibernian in March.
De Vita said: “I will keep many great memories with me. All the best to everyone. I hope next season will be successful again.”
