Ross County have strengthened their squad ahead of the new season, securing four players on pre-contracts, while midfielder Michael Gardyne has signed an extension that keeps him at Victoria Park until 2018.
Irish Goalkeeper Aaron McCarey and French midfielder Christopher Routis have signed two-year contracts, while Dutch left back Kenny van der Weg has signed an initial one-year deal, with the option of a further year.
Slovakian Defender Erik Cikos, 27, who enjoyed a successful short loan spell with the Staggies in 2014, has also agreed to return to Dingwall on a permanent basis after leaving Slovan Bratislava in his homeland.
McCarey, 24, joins County after six-and-a-half years with English Championship side Wolves, having spent much of his time at Molineux out on loan, with spells at York City, Portsmouth and Bury.
He has 10 caps for Republic of Ireland’s under-21 side, and won a call-up to the senior squad for a friendly against Spain in June 2013.
Routis, 26, has spent the last two years with English League 1 side Bradford City, having previously played for Swiss side Servette, but made just 15 appearances last season.
Dutchman Van der Weg, 25, chose to turn down the offer of a two-year contract with NAC Breda, with the option of a third year, in order to join the Highlanders.
