- Nottingham Forest are braced to lose £10m-rated Scotland winger Oliver Burke, with Tottenham Hotspur leading the race to sign the 19-year-old. (Daily Mirror)
- Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart, 29, would be willing to take a pay cut to join Liverpool. (Sun)
- Southampton are poised to break their transfer record by paying £21.2m for Lille’s Morocco forward Sofiane Boufal, 22. (Daily Telegraph)
- West Ham have agreed a £24m fee with Juventus for Simone Zaza, and the 25-year-old Italy forward is in talks with the Premier League club. (Guardian)

And Finally…
Aberdeen manager Derek McInnes believes Brendan Rodgers has breathed new life into Celtic already but he is confident his side can stop the Hoops revival in its tracks tomorrow.
The Scottish champions have started the new campaign in strong fashion domestically and McInnes has been impressed by the Hoops’ displays under former Liverpool manager Rodgers so far.
It has been plain sailing for them so far but McInnes insists the challenge of trying to stop them is one his club, and the rest of Scottish football, should relish.
