Aiden McGeady to Preston North End
Former Celtic star Aiden McGeady has joined Preston North End on a season-long loan.
McGeady has endured a tough time at Everton and has been unable to break in to the plans of successive managers at Goodison Park.
The 30-year-old Premier League outcast will look to revive his career while at Deepdale and could well be looking for a permanent move.

Aberdeen have today secured the signing of Norwich City midfielder James Maddison.
Derek McInnes was known to be on the hunt for a midfield ace to replace injured skipper Ryan Jack and it looks like he finally has his man.

Larnell Cole to Caley Thistle
Caley Thistle have secured one of Fulham’s brightest young talents on loan until January.
23-year-old midfielder Larnell Cole is a former Manchester United youth prospect and joined Fulham in 2014.
He spent last season on loan at Shrewsbury Town, playing 29 games and scoring three goals.

Marcos Alonso to Chelsea
Chelsea have signed left-back Marcos Alonso from Fiorentina, the Serie A club have announced.
The former Bolton defender began his career at Real Madrid and has also had a spell on loan at Sunderland.
A statement on Fiorentina’s website read: “ACF Fiorentina announces that it has sold, outright, Marcos Alonso Mendoza to Chelsea Football Club.”

Charlie Mulgrew to Blackburn Rovers
Former Celtic and Aberdeen defender Charlie Mulgrew has signed for English Championship side Blackburn Rovers.
The 30-year-old Scotland international left Celtic in the summer following a six-year spell with the club.
It was his second spell at the club after a period spent in the north-east with Aberdeen.

Philippe Senderos to Rangers
Rangers have signed international defender Philippe Senderos on a one-year deal.
The 31-year-old Switzerland international is a free agent after a six-month spell with Grasshoppers in his homeland.
Rangers boss Mark Warburton had been on the look out for new defensive options after his side looked shaky in pre-season.
Senderos, who has also played with Everton, Aston Villa and Milan has now joined up with the Ibrox side.

Torino have confirmed the signing of Joe Hart on loan from Manchester City.
Hart said: “Suddenly my career has undergone a change and I interpreted it as a sign of destiny,” Hart told the club website. “So I had to do something…The choice of Torino has come at the right time.
