American actor David Hasselhoff has shown there’s no end to his love of things British by showing his support for Scottish Premiership team Partick Thistle.
The former Baywatch star, who has previously appeared on Britain’s Got Talent and spoken at both Oxford and Cambridge Student Unions, put his best football foot forward and donned a Partick Thistle kit to cheer on the Jags before their home game against Motherwell on Saturday (September 25).
Tweeting a picture of his newest favourite team, the Hoff encouraged the Scottish team to “Go Hoff and win”.
Highlighting his dedication to the Glaswegian team, the 64-year-old star, who has also appeared at number three in the UK chart following the campaign, Get Hasslehoff to Number 1, even had his shirt personalised with The Hoff appearing on the back of the kit.
Unfortunately, Partick Thistle didn’t listen closely enough to their new fan and could only manage a one all draw, despite leading one nil at half time.
