Caley Thistle manager Richie Foran reckons taking the blame for early-season criticism aimed at the Highlanders is paying off.
Foran took responsibility for a poor start to the campaign as Inverness lost their opening three league games.
The Irishman left his players to mull over the losses and having since gone on to enjoy a four-match unbeaten streak he feels his approach has been justified.
Foran said: “We saw where our problems were against Hearts in the 5-1 defeat. It was down to me, I wasn’t playing the right formation at the time, so we changed it.
“We changed a couple of personnel but it was more about the formation. It wasn’t suiting us. We needed a formation that suited the players, not a formation that suited me and my philosophy.
“It’s all about getting results, and now we’re getting results. It’s been down to the players, and they’ve been great.
“There have been a few defeats in there, it was a big one against Hearts.
“I don’t read the press, but I was probably coming in for a bit of criticism.”
