Some of the world’s greatest footballers touched down in Glasgow today ahead of FC Barcelona’s match against Celtic.
Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar – arguably the best attacking trio in the world – were all spotted at the airport before the team travelled to a city centre hotel.
They checked into the Raddisson Blu Hotel where hundreds of fans waited in anticipation.
Other stars notable among the travelling squad included Javier Mascherano, Ivan Rakitic and Gerard Pique – husband of world-famous singer Shakira.
The players trained at Celtic Park last night ahead of their Champions League group stage match against the Parkhead side tonight.
The reverse side in September saw the Spanish champions thrash Celtic 7-0.
