Aberdeen expect Pawlett to complete move to MK Dons

Aberdeen have confirmed they expect midfielder Peter Pawlett to sign a pre-contract with English League One side MK Dons.

Pawlett had been made an offer to remain at Pittodrie, however the 26-year-old has indicated he is keen to try his luck south of the border, having been with the Reds since making his first-team debut in 2009.

A Dons spokesman said: “We expect he will probably sign for MK Dons, so it’s not going to come as any surprise if he does.

“The club made him a good offer but he’s set on trying his hand in England. Peter has still got a role to play between now and the end of the season.”
