Celtic star Emilio Izaguirre is set for crunch talks with the club as time runs out on his lucrative Parkhead contract.
The Honduras full-back will be free to leave the Hoops this summer if no new deal is agreed.
Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers suggested in November he would discuss a new deal with the 30-year-old, but nothing has yet been agreed.
Speaking to the Scottish Sun, Izauguirre said: “I don’t like to talk about my future at Celtic so much, but I can say that my agent is handling it at the moment.
“I am very grateful to Celtic because I have been there for seven years and am about to win my tenth trophy.
“If we win the Scottish Cup too, that will mean 11 winners’ medals at Celtic for me and that’s why I will always hold Celtic in special affection.
“My agent will talk to the directors of Celtic and then I will know what will happen.”
