A surprise name has waded into the debate over Celtic midfielder Stuart Armstrong’s future at the club.
Armstrong, who attracted rave reviews following his performance in Scotland’s World Cup qualifier against Slovenia, has been linked with a move away from the Parkhead.
But now TV star James Corden has added his club to the list of potential suitors to the Hoops man, saying he would “love” West Ham to snap him up.
As Armstrong’s birthday was celebrated on social media, with a fan account posting a clip featuring his Celtic goals, the funnyman shared the tweet with his followers, saying: “I would love West Ham to sign this player!”
