Aberdeen well represented in PFA Scotland team of the year

Joe Lewis was named in the PFA Scotland team of the year.

Four Aberdeen players have been included in the PFA Scotland team of the year.

Goalkeeper Joe Lewis, defender Shay Logan, midfielder Kenny McLean and attacker Jonny Hayes were among those included in the final line-up, as voted by their fellow professionals.

All players named in their league’s Team of the Year will receive a medal at this Sunday’s PFA Scotland Player of the Year Awards Dinner 2017, held in in the Hilton Hotel, Glasgow.

There were also four Elgin City players in the League 2 team of the year.

Defender Archie MacPhee, midfielders Brian Cameron and Thomas Reilly and attacker Shane Sutherland were all included.
