Defender Andrew Considine bagged a brace last night as he was named Aberdeen’s player of the year and the Dons players’ player of the year.
The 30-year-old, who has been with the Reds his entire career, has enjoyed a stellar campaign and has six goals to his name this season – including a hat-trick against Dundee in March’s 7-0 away victory.
On-loan Celtic midfielder Ryan Christie picked up the Dons’ young player of the year award at last night’s Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre event. Former Norwich loanee James Maddison earned the goal of the season prize for his match-winning free kick against Rangers at Pittodrie in September.
Bruce Anderson was named development player of the year and former Dons captain Russell Anderson Community Trust supporter of the year.
