Aberdeen manager Derek McInnes and his assistant Tony Docherty have been charged by the Scottish FA after being sent to the stand during last week’s Scottish Cup semi-final against Celtic.
McInnes, who was sent off after making a gesture towards the Celtic support, has been charged with breaching rule 203 that stipulates “no member of team staff shall commit misconduct at a match.”
The Dons boss has until April 25 to respond to the notice of complaint with a hearing scheduled for May 3.
Docherty, who was sent off at half-time, has accepted a one match suspension after being charged with breaching the same rule.
The Dons, who were beaten 3-0 by Celtic, take on Kilmarnock at Rugby Park tomorrow.
