Andy Considine has agreed a new two-year contract with Aberdeen.
The defender, who was due to be out of contract in the summer, had planned discussions with the Dons this week about extending his stay at Pittodrie.
Considine had met the appearance threshold to trigger a one-year extension to his deal, which was last signed in 2017.
However the 32-year-old was holding out for a longer contract and a two-year deal, with the option of another year, has been agreed.

A Banchory native, Considine is closing in on 500 appearances for the Dons and received a testimonial against FC Twente in 2015.
His father Doug played for Aberdeen under Sir Alex Ferguson in the 1980s and featured alongside Considine, who made his first-team debut in 2004, during his testimonial.
