Aberdeen have confirmed that all four loan players on their books will head back to their parent clubs.
Max Lowe, Dominic Ball, James Wilson and Greg Stewart will all leave the club, with only Lowe under contract for next season.
Ball, Wilson and Stewart are all free agents in the summer, following the expiry of their contracts with Rotherham, Manchester United and Birmingham City.
Defender Greg Halford has also left the club upon the expiry of his short-term contract. Halford joined as defensive cover following Shay Logan’s injury but played only 19 minutes across two games.
However, in the club statement issued on Monday there is no mention of Gary Mackay-Steven, who the Dons had been fighting to keep in the face of interest from America.
Manager Derek McInnes has expressed interest in bringing back Lowe, Ball and Wilson again next season, however Stewart seems bound for Rangers.
Youngsters David Craddock, Morgan Brown and Ryan Harrington have also left the club.
