Jordan Slew and David Goodwillie are among six players who have been placed on the transfer list by English Championship club Blackburn Rovers.
Slew, 21, spent the second half of last season on loan at Ross County, scoring once in 20 appearances.
Staggies manager Derek Adams claimed there was little chance of any of his five loan players returning to the club due to their wages.
Slew, however, expressed a willingness to return to Scotland with County if he had no future at Blackburn after scoring in his farewell appearance for the Dingwall side on the final day of the season in a 3-2 win at Partick Thistle.
Former Dundee United forward Goodwillie was a transfer target of Aberdeen during the January transfer window but eventually joined Blackpool on loan after the Dons signed Adam Rooney.
The Ewood Park club has also transfer listed Leon Best, DJ Campbell, Dickson Etuhu and Alex Marrow.
Meanwhile, County will return to Holland for the third year in a row after confirming their pre-season plans.
County will begin their preparations for the new campaign at Wick Academy on Saturday, July 12, before travelling to Rothes on Tuesday, July 15. Elgin City is next on the tour of the Highlands on Saturday, July 19, followed by games at Clach on Tuesday, July 22 and Nairn County on Saturday, July 26.
The Staggies will then travel to Holland for a week where they have provisionally scheduled a match against FC Twente on Friday, August 1.
