The 29-year-old, who joined the Dons from Burton Albion last year, has departed Pittodrie after having his contract cancelled by the club. Dons manager Derek McInnes said: “Calvin is a good guy and was a popular figure in the dressing room and around the club in general. “Everyone involved with AFC wishes Calvin and his family all the very best in his future career.” Zola scored three goals in 19 appearances for the club.
