Jake Jervis is determined to shed his target man tag following his move to Ross County.
The 6ft 3in forward knows he will be able to use his height to his advantage in Scottish football but insists there is much more to his game than aerial prowess.
Jervis, a close season capture from Portsmouth, said: “With me being so tall, people tend to think I’ll be more of a hold-up man in attack.
“But I definitely like to get in behind and get involved in the creative side as well.
“If I can play regularly here, I definitely feel confident I can be the 10-15 goal striker Ross County need.
“If you look at my game-to-goal ratio when I’ve started matches it is one in every two.
“Hopefully I can bring goals to the team and a lot more.”
