Aberdeen manager Derek McInnes is ready to reshape his team to accommodate new signing David Goodwillie.
The Dons manager has used Adam Rooney as a lone forward but McInnes is prepared to alter his system as he believes Goodwillie can help bring more goals to the side, especially at Pittodrie.
McInnes said: “We will be more inclined to play two strikers due to the players we have here, but I believe good players can play with good players.
“Strikers are always a difficult one to get but once we met David he said right away he wanted to sign.
“We looked at potential options but when we heard David was keen on staying in Scotland we wanted to have a conversation with him and it went well, but it is his actions which will show us everything.
“There were clubs interested in him but he felt Aberdeen was the right place for him and we hope he takes the opportunity. We just want him to work as hard for us as we are going to work for him.”
