Wolves attacking midfielder Zeli Ismail is set for a loan move to Aberdeen.
Dons manager Derek McInnes hopes complete a season long move for the Wolverhampton Wanderers player, who was on loan at Burton Albion last season.
The 20-year-old Albanian born England youth international spent the second half of last season on loan at English League 2 side Burton Albion and has previously been on loan with MK Dons.
Burton and Notts County both expressed an interest in the player but Aberdeen believe they have won the race for the player, who is out of contract in 2015.
Ismail has made nine first team appearances for Wolves and scored three goals in 15 games for Albion last season.
