Aberdeen midfielder Barry Robson has played down his prospects of replacing Derek Adams at Victoria Park.
One Scottish bookmaker suspended betting on the 35-year-old becoming the next Staggies manager yesterday following a flurry of bets.
More than 85 applicants have put their names forward for the County job but Robson says he is focused on his career with the Dons.
Robson said: “I am happy playing where I am at the minute.
“It is a great football club. We have great coaches and managers and I am very happy.”
Adams parted company with Ross County last week with the club sitting at the bottom of the Scottish Premiership having failed to win a game this season.
The Staggies’ poor form continued with a 4-0 loss to Hamilton Accies on Saturday.
