The SFA have confirmed that compliance officer Vincent Lunny is continuing to look into the complaint made by Aberdeen over the alleged racial abuse from Aleksander Tonev directed at Dons defender Shay Logan.
Logan reported the alleged second-half incident to referee Bobby Madden and skipper Mark Reynolds during Saturday’s match at Parkhead before informing manager Derek McInnes.
Today a spokesman for the SFA told the Press and Journal: “It is a matter for the compliance officer and as a body we cannot comment unless the compliance officer issues a complaint.”
Tonev, who was making making his belated Celtic debut on Saturday insists the allegation is not true.
